You will have to know where your destination in Paris is located as you have a Choice of autoroute A1, Porte de la Chapelle or A3, Porte de Bagnolet to take you away from the airport. You set out following the signs to Paris centre and as you get closer to the city you need to know what direction on the circular ‘peripherique’ you need to take, west or east. If you want to reach the heart of the city then head west and exit at Port Mallot. Check with your hotel or holiday provider as to which exit on the peripherique to take. We would advise you to try and get into / stay in the the two right-hand lane as this should increase you chances of actually reaching your preferred exit. You can see a video of the drive along the peripherique here........ Also check out our 'Driving in France' page here......Car rental Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
