recently completed renovated main farmhouse consists of two luxury double
bedrooms with en-suites. A large wooden beamed lounge with open fire. A
doorway links to the 'Rosseau wing', which consists of; downstairs, luxury
kitchen with separate dinner/sitting area with open fire and separate
WC. Upstairs consists of a double bedroom, two twin rooms plus bathroom.
Whether you wish to tour the many attractions of the region - such as the
famous Loire Valley Chateaux or just
chill-out by our private pool with its beautiful uninterrupted views across
the valley- you will have a holiday to remember. The area is great for
cycling, horse-riding, canoeing, fishing, walking, and of course its
vineyards.....

"Chez Le Bouex"

Although technically not in the Loire Valley "Le
Bouex" is so well placed as to enjoy easy access to this beautiful
part of France plus all the attractions of the lesser known department of
Vienne. This makes it an ideal base to explore the Loire Valley and its many
chateaux plus you can visit the theme park of
Futuroscope
which is great for kids young and old! You are also only a short distance
away from the pretty spa town of La Roche Posay with its Casino, racecourse
and golf course .Within easy reach of the house you also have the beautiful
sandy beaches of the St. Cyr Leisure Parc and Bellebouche within La Brenne
Natural Parc--so there is no need to drive to the coast!

This is a big converted barn, with a large private garden and
wonderful views across the fields.

This is the larger part of the farmhouse – a traditional French building on

Delightful
19th Century Loire Valley house for rent in the peaceful village of Barrou
in the department of Indre et Loire,France. The village’s location halfway
between the regional capitals of Tours and Poitiers makes it an ideal base
to explore the Loire Valley and Vienne. Plus you can visit the theme parks
of Futuroscope and Grande Parc du Fou which are great for kids young and
old! Barrou itself has a restaurant/bar, boulangerie (baker) boucherie
(butcher) and épicier (grocer) all within walking distance of the house.
There is a boulodrome in the centre of the village for ‘Petanque (boules).
The house, with its history, (originally it was a mill for producing walnut
oil) beamed ceilings and tiled floors retains its charm. Accommodation
consists of a large lounge, kitchen/diner two double bedrooms, the master
with en-suite. There is a second toilet and shower room off the lounge.
There is a large enclosed sunny courtyard for alfresco dining and sun
bathing.........
